Location

ACAI-01 course will be held in the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of the Electrical Engineering at the CTU Campus in Prague 6 -Dejvice, Technicka street 2.

Transport from the Airport Praha - Ruzyne :

Bus
Bus no. 119 operates between the terminal - Prague-Ruzyne Airport (Stop-Nove letiste) and the underground (subway, Metro) stop Dejvicka. The 119 runs every 20 - 40 minutes between the hours of 4:00 and 24:00. This trip should take about 30-40 minutes including waiting-time. Before you get on a bus, you have to buy a 12-crown ticket, available from vending machines or newsagents. The university campus is within 10-minute walk from Dejvicka bus-stop.

Minibus
The minibus service operates from the airport to the city centre. It is a shuttle transport and the terminus is in the city centre - Namesti republiky (Republic Square) at the CSA City Travel Centre near to the Renaissance and Marriot hotels. VW Transporter minibuses are for 6 persons. The price for one passenger is 90 CZK. You will take underground (Metro) line B to the stop Mustek, at Mustek you will change to the underground line A. You will get off at the underground stop Dejvicka. Before using underground transport, you have to buy a 12-crown ticket, available from vending machines or newsagents.

Taxi
Taxi rank is located in front of the airport terminal. The taxi cars are marked "AIRPORT CARS" on their doors. Price to the city centre is around 500 - 700 CZK.

Transport from the Main Railway Station (Hlavni nadrazi):

You will take underground (Metro) line C to the stop Muzeum, at Muzeum you will change to the underground line A. You will get off at the underground stop Dejvicka. The underground operates between 5:00 - 24:00 every day. Before using underground transport, you have to buy a 12-crown ticket, available from vending machines or newsagents. The university campus is within 10 minute walk from Dejvicka stop.

Prague

Prague is the capital city of the Czech Republic which lies in the heart of Europe, neighbouring with Germany, Austria, Slovakia and Poland. In 1992 the historical centre of Prague was listed in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage Register. Prague is also among the nine cities awarded by the EU title of European Metropolis of Culture for the year 2000.
There is a number of non-stop border crossings available with an excellent connection by car, bus, train or plane. A valid passport, which does not expire at least for six months, is required in order to enter the Czech Republic. There is no need of an entry visa for most European countries, USA and Canada. In case of necessity you can obtain visa at the Czech Embassy in your country. Two kinds of visas are available; a tourist visa for 30 days or a transit one for 48 hours.
