Workshop
Intelligent and Adaptive Systems in Medicine
Prague, March 31 - April 1, 2003

The workshop is supported by the EC grant ICA1-CT-2000-70002 MIRACLE in the context of the "Centres of Excellence" project.

About the workshop

The workshop will present some advanced intelligent and adaptive methods and tools developed for solving problems appearing in various areas of medical diagnostics, monitoring and treatment planning. Application of these methods can significantly help in health care in decision making process. To confirm this claim, several case studies will be presented documenting practical experiences and results obtained in different areas of medicine. The event is of interest to Czech medical doctors and professionals from health care, researchers and PhD students.

The workshop is supported by the EC grant within the European project "MIRACLE - Centre of Excellence" (ICA1-CT-2000-70002). It presents results of the MIRACLE Centre within the European projects: Sol-Eu-Net (IST-1999-11495), EUNITE (IST-2000-29207) and the national project "Centre of Applied Cybernetics", as well of other collaborative institutions.
