The objectives are to develop the MIRACLE Centre towards an internationally recognised research body and working place at all levels of higher education in the area of Artificial Intelligence - Multi-agent Systems: System Integration, Knowledge Management, Diagnostics and Quality Control of Complex Systems (including Intelligent Software Diagnostics), Machine Perception/Computer Vision, Biocybernetics by increased co-operation with key European Centres. MIRACLE Centre will enhance its involvement in the activities of European Networks of Excellence, EC projects and other scientific events. MIRACLE Centre will share its knowledge and expertise an thus increase impact of its research results.

MIRACLE Centre will organize international conferences, summer schools and workshops with invited internationally leading experts and will enable stays of European PhD. or post-doc researches at the centre. Furthermore, MIRACLE Centre will create environment for network-centred education and industry-driven training at the doctoral level to reinforce transfer of technologies.
