Description:MPEG is a well established video compression standard. In this work, we consider detecting forgery in videos compressed by MPEG. When an MPEG video is modified, and re-saved in MPEG format, it is subject to double compression. In this process, two types of artifacts - spatial and/or temporal - will likely be introduced into the resulting video. Our aim is to analyze how these artifacts can be quantified and estimated in order to detect forgeries.
