Description:The project aims to create a new magnetometer sensing head composed from multiple sensors interfaced by IIC bus and assembled in such a way allowing for local magnetic field distortion corrections. The assembly allows for online calibration circle measurement and instead computation of soft and hard iron distortions parameters. This allows the magnetometer to be used for indoor navigation. It is necessary to interface the sensors with an embedded computer and create data interface between the new sensor head and Matlab or Scilab environment. The control software should be able to exchange sensor settings and measured calibration parameters and data.
