Description:Light painting is a stunning technique in photography – glowing and moving objects are captured during long exposure. The aim of this project is to use a standard robotic arm for a lightpainting show. The robotic arm should be able to swing poi (tethered weights) in different patterns to create various shapes in long exposure. The poi can be fixed to the robotic arm (easier to control) or on a standard flexible string which call for use an advanced controller taking advantage of the poi’s dynamics.
