Popis:Estimation of human age and gender from images is a long standing problem in computer vision. The standard approach is to estimate age/gender based on a frontal face images which can be reliably detected. However, the requirement of frontal face image is often violated in real-life applications. The goal of this work will be to investigate possibility of estimating age/gender from other visible parts of the human body like e.g. clothing. The task will be to evaluate accuracy of the new predictor learned from examples and to combine it with the existing ones which use the frontal faces.
