Popis: | Current robotic cells are usually designed with the aim to maximize the production rate without taking into account the energy efficiency. Several recent research works [1] report that significant amount of energy can be saved by setting proper speeds of robotic movements and a suitable order of operations.
The objective of this work is to propose a simple algorithm for setting the speed of robotic movements such that the line provides a given production rate and the total energy consumption is minimized. The work will be done in Siemens Process Simulate, which is a 3D design environment used by manufacturers like Škoda or VW, offering a very precise simulation of robots. The experiments will be performed on models of real production lines. [1] L. Bukata, P. Šůcha, Z. Hanzálek, P. Burget.
