Vypsáno jako:Diplomová práce
Popis:On the field of satellite navigation the construction of new global systems similar to GPS is on the way. In Europe, the Galileo system is being developed and in several years it should offer its signals and services to users all over the world. These systems transmit radio frequency (RF) signals that share the same frequency bands or reside near to each other in limited frequency space designed by ITU. Our institute plans to sum up its comprehensive know-how on the field of signal intercompatibility into a practical software tool. Therefore the development of the high quality software application combining inputs from the field of navigation is needed.
The aim of your thesis would be to write a small high-quality Matlab-based software application with uses of best practices of sustainable software development. Within the framework of your thesis you will concentrate on the UML-described design securing modularity, well-defined internal structure and interfaces that combine the specific scripts in the application. A GUI should be designed and implemented for according to users' needs. The test plan should be included and performed to secure quality of the final product.  Studies of computer science or telecommunications. Basic experience with Matlab. Basic knowledge in physics of signals and electromagnetic waves. Very good knowledge of C++, Java, Matlab or other higher languages. Knowledge of software design and engineering. Fluent English knowledge in speech and writing. Team and communication skills. Individual initiative.
The Institute of Geodesy and Navigation of the University FAF Munich offers a contract for 3-6 month for this master thesis with DAAD STIBET I scholarship starting from March/April 2011. Interested students are invited to apply.
