Popis:Model Predictive Control (MPC) is an advanced multivariable control method which penetrated the industry in last two decades. The main advantage of MPC is that it simplifies the controller calibration time compared to the traditional control methods. It can also naturally handle the constraints on all variables in the control loop.

The aim of the proposed project is to use existing commercially available tool Honeywell OnRAMP Design Suite to implement MPC controller for selected multivariable nonlinear plant and document achieved results. The plan will be decided on the 1st team meeting.
Pokyny:1.Get familiar with Honeywell OnRAMP Design Suite tool.
2.Create a nonlinear model of selected multivariable plant (e.g., helicopter) in OnRAMP Design Suite Tool. Use model parametrization found in a literature.
3.Design Model Predictive Controller (MPC) for the model using the OnRAMP Design Suite Tool.
4.Perform simulation study of the controller and model for a selected trajectory of setpoints and analyze the results.
5.Create a summary presentation describing achieved results.
