Abstract:This work deals with design of a new classifier classifying camera frames to several classes according to configuration of playing elements on playing table in the Eurobot contest, and its implementation in C/C++ language using open-source library OpenCV. The method is built upon a principle of frames comparison with prepared referential images. Several experiments verify the classifier robustness, finally the quality is confirmed by results from the contest final. Simple Bayesian classifier is also tested on the same problem to compare with.
