| Abstract: |  This thesis discusses the problem of using multiple structured-light depth sensors capturing one scene at the same time. The first part of the text explains the principle of the structured-light depth sensors' function and compares the several types of these sensors. The next part shows an overview of methods solving this problem, especially the time multiplexing methods, and analyzes their usability. The last part introduces the new method solving this problem which consist in blocking the sensor's signal by the one-pixel LCD display.
At first the experiments related to the realization of this solution are described and then the implementation is introduced. The realization consists of designing and manufacturing the LDC's driving circuit, the mechanical housing of the LCD display to the sensors and the software implementation which provides the synchronization of the sensors and its computer control. In conclusion the function verification and use in practice is presented. |
