| Abstract: |  This bachelors thesis focuses on application of evolutionary algorithm to the well-known problem of virtual creatures evolution. It analyzes the capabilities of hybrid algorithm with differential evolution on this task. This thesis describes the structure of implemented layer of abstraction above the f0 genotype of free program Framsticks, which is designed to help control the progress of evolution. It explores the optimal values of parameters in several exemplary experiments with various settings of fitness function. The conclusion discusses the appearance and behavior of resulting individuals.
