| Abstract: |  Air traffic is a fundamental element in long distance transportation. Because of that it is often matter of interest in topics of safety and efficiency. It is necessary to focus on the simulation when implementing new ideas.
In this thesis I present the possibilities of the air traffic simulation at the airport area. I am focusing on general model and suitable computer representation of an airport on which will this simulation run. On the basis of this model I describe the approach in search for the optimal path. I am addressing the issues on crossing path between multiple airplanes and I am presenting the solution on this matter.
Next step is the implementation of created architecture, the initialization of individual agents and the realization of their movement at the airport area. To solve potential collisions the agents communicate with each other. Finally I am testing implemented methods and their correctness on several simulation scenarios.
