Abstract: | Main target of this thesis is to find out available travel demand related data
and then design travel demand model based on these data which will be highly
dependent on these input data and on the transport network. The implementation
of this model is designed for integration to AgentPolis simulation platform.
The model is based on generation of population of persons with specific
attributes from which is created daily activity schedule from predefined
patterns. From these activities the concrete travels are generated during the
simulation.
The ability of the model to react on modification of input data or transport
network is tested on several scenarios. During the evaluation of these scenarios
was even detected a lack of AgentPolis in the simulation of big sample of
population.
