Abstract:The aim of this work is to design and implement a new wireless network simulator that will be used in multi-agent platform A-globe for simulation of wireless communication. This simulator should enable speci cation of transmission powers, sensitivity thresholds and antenna gains of the simulated entities. Furthermore, it should enable de nition of obstacles for radio signal - either manually by the user or by extracting the obstacles' positions from provided height-map of the environment. In this work, I will deal with the problems of radio frequency signal propagation and wireless network simulations, I will give an overview of the main concepts of the multiagent platform A-globe, and I will describe the design and features of the new simulator. The accuracy of the simulator was tested and compared to open-source simulator SWANS++, giving very similar results.
