Description:The task is to segment an object with clear edges and of approximately known shape, where the shape is described by statistics over some shape descriptors, e.g. moments. We suggest a method which starts by oversegmentating the image into superpixels and then tries to find a  compact subset of the superpixels which corresponds to the shape model. We shall try to find efficient algorithms for this task.
