Prof. Jan Kybic was appointed an external member of the research board of Charles University. The research board is a self-governing academic body overseeing research and other creative activities performed by the University as a public higher education institution. The Research Board is chaired by the rector and he or she appoints the remaining members who are subject to approval by the Academic Senate.
