After two days of the Mohamed Bin Zayed International Robotics Challenge competition in Abu Dhabi, the CTU team (also Uni Lincoln and UPenn involved) led by Dr. Saska won the first place in the Challenge 3 that required a team of UAVs to collaborate to search, locate, track, pick and place a set of static and moving objects and the second place in the Challenge 1 – landing on a moving platform. Thanks to this success, the team got a “wild card” – a possibility to enter the Grand Challenge, where, together with the colleagues from the University of Padua they won the bronze. A more detailed story in Czech you can see here. Congratulations.
