Description:We are looking for enthusiastic students who are willing to work on a global monitoring system for drones (UAV/RPAS). Our system should be redundant to the internal aircraft sensors to provide independent information about aircraft position. The monitoring system is intended to be used as a complementary information to display drones’ position around important objects (airports, cities, etc). We are looking for a group of students who will work on a data acquisition system (the telemetry unit), its embedded software, transmission protocol and ground data processing (database and socket programming). The overall project is composed from HW and SW development where SW is divided for the embedded system and a remote data storage server.
