Congratulations to Ing. Jekatěrina Jaroslavceva and her supervisor prof. Ondřej Chum and also to dr. Vojtěch Spurný and his supervisor doc. Martin Saska for their extraordinary achievement in this year’s Werner von Siemens Awards!
Jekatěrina received two awards. She was awarded for excellence in women’s scientific work and she was a runner-up in the category Best Master Thesis for her thesis entitled New Algorithm for Coupling 3D Energy Deposits Based on Graph Neural Networks for the CMS Experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. Jekatěrina is a member of the Visual Recognition Group.
Vojtěch also received two awards. He was a runner-up in the category Best Dissertation Thesis as well as in the Industry 4.0 category for his thesis Complex System for Fast and Reliable Deployment of Cooperating Autonomous Aircraft. Vojtěch was a member of the Multirobotic Systems Group.
